Beautiful popping peonies!

So a few days ago I posted a picture of one of our peonies ready to open. Well at last we've had a bit of sun and warmth and the beautiful flowers have not disappointed.

Such a flouncy, colourful, rich flower. Fingers crossed we don't get any wind or rain as they will then just be petals on the floor. (That reminds me of the happy days as a child, making perfume in a jam jar with any pretty petals I could find....fun times.)
