Blight!

Writer's picture: fenosarahfenosarah

This year Head Gardener and I had ( being the operative word) been really enjoying the lovely supply of beautifully ripe red and golden tomatoes. These ranged in size and shape and were delicious. However we started to notice the plants browning and the fruit changing its ripening pattern. The fruit seemed ripe but once picked turned to mush. We now know that the plants had tomato blight. This was very annoying as we have never been very good at growing tomatoes and to get them to ripen. Never mind.....there's always next year.
