Crunchy crisp pastry

I know I am not the only one to use bought puff pastry! It is so much more convenient and quick to use plus it's pretty delicious. I have made puff pastry from scratch many times, but this was many years ago. If I remember correctly it took ages and the results weren't very consistent. 😃


Anyway our freezer decided to give up over the weekend so it then meant we had several "use-up" meals, some never seen before and some that'll probably never to be seen again! Hence me using some frozen puff pastry.


This delicious plait had a stuffing of mushrooms, pecans and borlotti beans. We served it warm with a crunchy green salad. Even the meat lovers in the household enjoyed this. I really like finding recipes like this that are tasty, not too fiddly and enjoyed by all. Recipe to follow.
