We are fans of garlic bread but thought as we’ve lots of fabulous herbs in the garden that we should ring the changes! This is my new favourite - chive butter!
It is so simple......freshly snipped chives, mashed into some softened butter and a twist of pepper. I use a part baked loaf and slice the loaf (not completely through) then wrap in foil and cook as directed. The result is delicious crispy, golden and herby bread. Very tasty with soup, bolognese and barbecue.
