Lockdown and gardening

What a quirky tomato? This poor tomato looks its waistband is a bit tight! Perhaps lockdown isn't suiting some of our crops.

All I can say is thank goodness for our garden during lockdown. Spending more time at home has been wonderful to be able to plan, breath and just have time to look around and realise we are very lucky.

The time has also allowed us to use the garden space to its full potential. For the first time ever we have some cabbages planted where the peas have been and gone. Only snag with these is the first net we put over them to protect from cabbage white butterfly damage wasn't fine enough and before we knew it the damage had been done. We have now added a finer net but it could be too late. We shall just wait and see.
