I love terracotta pots. A prized possession of ours is a lovely urn, which we bought with wedding present money. It does have a nasty crack in it but fingers crossed and with a little winter protection it will be ok. Usually I grow bright red trailing geraniums in it. They are great plants to grow as can cope with not being watered a lot, love the sun and look fabulous for a very long time. Peppa dog loves the sun too!
However this year it was hard to get these plants so I had to break with tradition. We planted another favourite, Erigeron daisies and a beautiful hardy geranium. I am so pleased with it. I think this will become the new tradition.
