Peaches

I am very excited about our one and only peach tree this year. It blossoms well most years but then suffers from leaf curl very quickly. I think in the 10 years or so of having the tree we have had less than 10 fruits! However this year looks like the best yet. Fingers crossed the fruit stays on and actually grows and ripens. I remember from a long time ago when I travelled to Australia, helping out friends with thinning the blossom on the nectarine and peach trees to help boost the crop. Not sure this will be needed here but it brought back many happy memories.
