Spring is such a wonderful time of the year to see all the new plants poke their heads up and offer us joy (and the hope of a bumper crop later in the year.)
It is a busy time too but we (Head Gardener!) also have to be patient. We have lots of seeds that state a spring sowing, well that is now, but only just. So we will wait a week or so before going seed mad.
The preparation has been done with some soil enriching and even a plan for our veggie patch so we can get the most out of it. I can't wait.
Here we have some "cut and come" lettuce, garlic shoots, a climbing hydrangea and a delphinium.....let's keep our fingers crossed we won't get anymore frosts!
