There is nothing like the bright yellow of a bunch of daffodils sitting in the sun to lift the mood! These are my first bunch of the year and I’ve also just had my first cheeky hot cross bun. Delicious.
There are a few little hints of spring too which are lovely. I am a big fan of all our seasons but think the beginning of spring is my favourite.
The evenings are getting a bit lighter and I’ve spotted in the garden some pretty catkins on a self sown tree. There are even some violets hiding behind their leaves. It was their perfume I noticed first. The violets have rather taken over in a few places but hey ho, they’re pretty, smell nice and keep the weeds down. What more could you want?
