I make quite a lot of cherry cakes as it's a family favourite. Sometimes I add a handful of chopped glace cherries to a victoria sponge for a simple cake. But the other day I baked one of my Mum's recipes. This went down very well and the cherries didn't sink! Think it's my new 'go to' recipe now.
